Summer Camp Dear Parents and Educators… It is my pleasure to invite your student(s) to join The Academic Partnership’s 2019 Leadership STEM Summer Camp. This camp is an amazing opportunity for your student to visit The United States of America, learn about the wonderful world of STEM and engage other students from all over the world. The Academic Partnership, LLC is an educational consulting firm that has provided academic supports for K-12 students all over the world. We are an U.S. based company serving the needs of students, parents and schools since August 2009. The camp will take place from July 1st to August 3rd at Shepherd University. Shepherd University is located in West Virginia and it sits along the beautiful and tranquil Shenandoah Valley. The location is safe and it is the ideal place to host a summer program.

As mentioned, the summer camp is a leadership and STEM driven course. Students will learn about STEM related topics and engage in activities that will introduce them to the world of STEM. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The theme of this year’s camp is ENERGY! Students will take classes by certified science, engineering, mathematics and medical educators from various educational and private sector backgrounds. The participants will not only sit in classrooms, but they will mostly experience living classrooms through experiments and field trips. A complete itinerary/camp schedule will be posted online for your review. This itinerary is an hour-by-hour listing of all the fun and exciting activities your students will be experiencing throughout the camp. Moreover, we will include you in on the fun by posting hourly updates via Facebook and our website so you can share the fun with your student. The leadership portion of the camp is based on our unique three legged stool model. We seek to challenge students in their ability to be the best person they can possibly be. We do this by placing them in situations that will test their academic abilities, physical fitness and sense of citizenship. Students will complete tasks that will build their confidence, enhance their mental and physical endurance and promote the importance of teamwork and positive communication. Participants will engage in several field trips that will allow them to visit museums, landmarks, and other attractions that are located in several states such as New York, Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland. We will visit attractions such as the White House, Smithsonian Institutes, Six Flags Amusement Park, Baltimore Orioles Professional baseball game, Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and much, much more. The Academic Partnership has years of experience hosting camps for school age youth. The ages of students who are invited to join us range from ages 10-16. Both, male and female are welcomed to join us. The camp will be separated by gender on all housing and physical related activities and issues. There will be full time certified camp counselors on watch 24 hours a day. The ratio of camper to staff will be 1 counselor to every 10 campers. We will also have trained certified medical nurses available 24 hours a day who will have access to nearby hospitals. Included in the package will be Travelers Medical insurance in the event that a medical emergency occurs. Halal meals will always be available and we will observe all prayer times and provide proper accommodations for prayer and worship for all religions. The total cost of this wonderful camp is only 21,500SAR or $5,333.00 including the cost of airfare. The application deadline for registration is February 15, 2019. The first payment of 10,750SAR or $2866.00 is due by January 15, 2019. The final payment of $10,750SAR or $2866.00 will be due a month later on February 15, 2019. These timings are extremely important as we must book airline flights and other logistical arrangements in order to secure the appropriate number seats for travel and accommodation.
